The Grey Army goes high-tech with digital signage

Digital Signage installed at Mt Eliza Bowls Club by Aeris Solutions, using Signagelive

With its ever-growing list of sponsors, Mt Eliza Bowls Club was looking for ways to satisfactory display the local businesses that support them via various types of sponsorship. It was suggested that the use of two large format LCD panel with high quality graphics would achieve the result they require. Scheduling ahead of time the ‘sponsor of the day’ along with club news, results and even birthday messages would be an ideal way of sharing information.

Naturally the solution would need to be very easy to use both from a user and installation point-of-view. Mt Eliza Bowls Club turned to digital signage specialists Aeris Solutions for the answer. After considering the needs and objectives of the bowls club it was decided the obvious choice would be signagelive. Easy to set-up and simple to use for scheduling the sponsor messages along with news and club information signagelive would meet all their requirements.

Signagelive operates and maintains a computer server which the bowls clubs digital signage media player connects to. Access to this server is via any computer with an Internet connection. This is ideal for the club members as they can ‘log-in’ (via securer user name and password) from home to upload images, create playlists and schedule when the images playback. Once the content is sent to the server the clubs media player downloads the content for playback.

“It’s exactly what we where looking for and the sponsors love to see the messages displayed on the screen” said Patrick, committee member for Mt Eliza Bowls Club.
